Longevity & Healthspan Literature Monitor

Every month, on the 2nd, a report of newly published research on longevity, healthspan and preventive medicine — retrieved from PubMed, with every article rated 1–5 for its relevance to personal prevention and the strongest findings summarised from their own abstracts. Each entry carries its DOI so you can check the source yourself.

How articles are rated

★★★★★ 5 — Breakthrough / immediately actionable for personal healthspan
★★★★☆ 4 — High relevance - strong mechanistic or clinical data
★★★☆☆ 3 — Moderate - promising early data or relevant mechanisms
★★☆☆☆ 2 — Low-moderate - basic science, limited translational path
★☆☆☆☆ 1 — Minimal direct relevance to personal prevention

Ratings weigh human evidence over animal or cell work (randomised trial > cohort > mechanistic), how accessible or near-term the intervention is, whether it addresses a leading cause of healthspan loss, and whether the mechanism is genuinely new. The retrieval and rating are automated; every title, journal, date, author list and DOI comes directly from PubMed, and each summary uses only facts stated in that article's abstract.
